Bio-Chemical Wastewater Treatment



Blast Furnace Complex Project has many sub area, Blast Furnace Plant area, Sinter Plant area, Hot Metal Treatment Plant area and Coke Oven Plant area. Process complex of blast furnace projeect has on Coke Oven Plant area, there are chemistry process is complex of by-product such as Desulfurization, Amonium sulfate, Benzole Scrubbing, Tank farm and Bio-Chemical treatment plant. 

Bio-Chemical Wastewater Treatment Plant is wastewater treatment process plant in this project to gain a zero waste of the project. Whole sewage treatment process has three stages. The first stage is pre-treatment there including oil separating pool and floatation pool.Sewage first goes to oil separation pool to remove light oil and heavy oil. The collected light oil and heavy oil are sent to condensing and blowing section for recycle. Sewage after light and heavy oil removal goes to floatation pool to remove emulsified oil and colloidal oil. 

The second stage is bio-treatment there including anaerobic pool, oxygen deficit pool and aerobiotic pool. After adjustmentin the First stage, sewage goes to anaerobic pool, where anaerobe is used for polycyclic chemical compound allosterism or desmolysis, and transferring the material hardly degradable in aerobiotic and aerobic biology to degradation-easy material. After acid fermentation, macromolecule organic matter is degradated into micromolecule organic matter, which can further improve biochemical capability, under the condition of non-O2 anoxia pool, certain matter in coking sewage going to anoxia pool as carbon source, using O in NO3, NO2 in backflow nitrating liquid for anaerobic respiration to decompose COD matter in sewage and reduce NO3, NO2, ion to N2 and other gas, thus to realize denitrification of NO3, NO2. By blowing enough air in aerobiotic pool and adding various nutrition necessary for microorganism, the neutralized microorganism is used to remove COD and other contaminants in sewage. Meanwhile, NH3-N is oxidate to NO3,NO2 ion by nitrobacteria and nitrite bacteria. 

The third stage is advanced treatment is coagulating sedimentation. Effluent after coagulating sedimentation is sent to quenching section for reuse, instead of discharging to outside. Excess sludge goes to sludge thickener for concentration before going to filter pressing house for filter pressing. Mud cake is mixed into coking coal. To ensure normal operation of bio-chemichal treatment system and effluent water quality, during operation, central laboratory conducts regular test. The instruments of level, pressure and flow, etc. conduct monitoring and calculation of system.
